Samyukta has a silk body and pallu in a muted yellow beige. Her highlighting features are the deep brown silk pleats with a pink undertone. The blouse material is a lush cotton fabric with alternating stripes in yellow beige and cream. Her lingering pallu culminates in a broad horizontal stripe woven in a sheer zari fabric. A silver zari border — Aconi’s rendition of the customary gold one — runs along the length of the saree, perfecting her timeless charm.

 Samyukta has been conceptualized by our team of designers and crafted with careful expertise by senior weavers in the town of Maheshwar. An elusive twist on traditional Maheshwari sarees, the complexity of the weaving techniques used is amplified through minute attention to details.

 Contrary to popular belief about handloom sarees, this one does not require any elaborate maintenance.

This saree is named after Samyukta Devi who was the bewitchingly beautiful Queen of Kannauj. Her rebellious nature is immortalized in this saree, with the deep brown pleats that stand out on an otherwise demure garment.
